About These Terms
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the OIRA website and the purchase of products from us. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.
Who We Are
OIRA is an online furniture retailer serving customers across the United Kingdom. We offer a carefully selected range of furniture products sourced from trusted suppliers and manufacturers. We do not manufacture products ourselves.
Your Account
Registration
Creating an account on oira.co.uk allows you to track orders, save delivery addresses, manage returns, and access order history. You must provide your full name, a valid email address, and a secure password.
Account Security
You are solely responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. Do not share your password with anyone. If you suspect unauthorised access, notify us immediately at [email protected] and change your password right away. We will not be liable for any loss resulting from unauthorised account use.
Account Closure
You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Closing your account does not cancel active orders or outstanding warranties on furniture already purchased. We retain certain records as required by UK law and for legitimate business purposes.
Suspension or Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account without notice if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse our platform. You may appeal a suspension by emailing [email protected] within 14 days.
Our Products
Product Descriptions
We make every effort to describe our furniture accurately, including dimensions, materials, finishes, colours, and weight capacities. All measurements are approximate and given in centimetres (cm) unless stated otherwise.
Materials & Quality
Our furniture is made from materials including engineered wood (MDF/particle board), metal frames, upholstered fabrics, and leather/faux leather. Material details are listed on each product page. If you require specific allergy or chemical composition information, contact us before purchasing.
Self-Assembly Items
Many of our products require self-assembly. Items that require assembly are clearly marked on the product page. Assembly instructions are included in the packaging. OIRA is not responsible for damage caused by incorrect assembly. If parts are missing, contact us within 24 Hours of delivery and we will send replacements free of charge.
Stock Availability
All orders are subject to stock availability. If an item becomes unavailable after your order is placed, we will notify you within 2 business days and offer a full refund or alternative product.
Placing an Order
How Orders Work
Adding items to your cart and clicking “Place Order” constitutes an offer to buy. You will receive an Order Confirmation email acknowledging receipt – this is not acceptance of your order.
A binding contract is only formed when we send a separate Dispatch Confirmation email confirming your furniture has been shipped or handed to our delivery partner.
Order Amendments
You may request to amend or cancel your order within 2 hours of placing it by contacting us at [email protected]. After 2 hours, orders may already be processed or dispatched and cannot be amended.
Right to Refuse
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order where:
- The item is out of stock or discontinued.
- There is a pricing or product description error on the Website.
- We cannot verify payment or billing details.
- We have reasonable suspicion of fraudulent activity.
- The delivery address is outside the United Kingdom.
If your order is cancelled after payment, a full refund will be issued within 5 business days to your original payment method.
Prices & Payment
Pricing
All prices on oira.co.uk are displayed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP £) and include UK VAT at the prevailing rate unless otherwise stated.
We proudly offer free delivery across the United Kingdom with no hidden delivery charges.
We reserve the right to update prices at any time. The price applicable to your order is the price displayed at the time your order is placed.
Pricing Errors
If we discover a significant pricing error after your order is confirmed, we will contact you promptly and give you the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel for a full refund. We are under no obligation to fulfil orders at an incorrectly listed price.

Failed Payments
If your payment is declined, your order will not be confirmed. Please contact your bank or try an alternative payment method. We are not responsible for charges your bank may apply for declined transactions.
Delivery
Delivery Area
We deliver exclusively to addresses within mainland England, Scotland, and Wales. We do not currently deliver to Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man, or any overseas address. If your address falls outside our delivery zone, your order will be cancelled with a full refund.

Estimated delivery dates are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed. Delays caused by our courier partners, extreme weather, road closures, or other events outside our reasonable control do not entitle you to cancel the order or claim compensation beyond a reasonable extension of time.
Failed Deliveries
Please ensure someone is available to receive your order at the scheduled delivery time. If delivery cannot be completed due to missed appointments or inaccessible premises, we may need to arrange a new delivery date.
Additional delivery charges may apply for repeated failed delivery attempts or returned items.
Assembly
Most OIRA furniture products require self-assembly unless otherwise stated on the product page. Assembly instructions and necessary fittings are included with your order.
Please follow all assembly instructions carefully to ensure the product is assembled safely and correctly. We recommend assembling furniture on a clean, soft surface to avoid accidental damage during setup.
Improper assembly, misuse, modifications, or the use of unsuitable tools may affect product stability and may void eligibility for returns or claims relating to assembly-related damage.

Returns & Refunds
At OIRA.CO.UK, customer satisfaction is our top priority. We aim to ensure that you are fully satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not happy with your order, we are here to help.
Return
You have the right to return your item within 14 days of receiving your order. To be eligible for a return.:
- In its original, unused, and unassembled condition.
- In original packaging (where reasonably possible for large items).
- Free from damage caused after delivery.
- Proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt) is required.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you about the approval or rejection of your refund.
- If approved, your refund will be processed within 5–10 business days.
- The refund will be issued to your original payment method.
Faulty or Damaged Goods
Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply to all purchases from OIRA. Furniture must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described.
Reporting Faults
If your furniture arrives damaged, develops a manufacturing fault, or does not match its description, contact us at [email protected] with your order number, a description of the fault, and clear photographs.
Your Data & Privacy
When you create an account or place an order, we collect personal data including your name, email address, delivery address, phone number, and browsing/purchase history on our Website. Payment details are processed securely – we do not store full card numbers.
We use this data to process orders, manage your account, send service communications, and (with your consent) marketing. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

Intellectual Property
All content on oira.co.uk – including logos, furniture photography, product descriptions, design visuals, written content, and website code – is the intellectual property of OIRA or its licensed suppliers and is protected under UK and international copyright law.
You may view and print content solely for personal, non-commercial reference. You may not reproduce, redistribute, republish, or use our content commercially without prior written consent from OIRA.
Prohibited Conduct
When using oira.co.uk you must not:
- Provide false personal or payment information during registration or checkout.
- Use a stolen or unauthorised payment method.
- Place fraudulent orders or abuse our returns policy.
- Resell OIRA furniture commercially without a written agreement.
- Attempt to access, hack, or disrupt our Website, servers, or databases.
- Use automated bots or scrapers to harvest product data or pricing.
- Submit false or malicious product reviews.
- Impersonate OIRA staff or other customers.
We reserve the right to cancel orders, close accounts, and take legal action in response to any prohibited conduct.
Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under UK law.
Subject to the above, OIRA shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit or data, delivery delays caused by third-party couriers, or losses arising from your failure to measure your space before ordering.
Our total liability for any single claim shall not exceed the total amount you paid for the order giving rise to that claim.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Consumers resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland retain the right to bring proceedings in their home nation’s courts.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date. For significant changes, registered account holders will receive email notification at least 14 days in advance. Continued use of the Website after that date constitutes acceptance.
